Q: What is the Organized Play Foundation (OPF)?
A: The OPF is a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit that supports volunteers of the gaming community. As part of our mission, we run Warhorn.net and offer the Volunteer Valhalla.
Q: How is the OPF funded?
A: By donations from our volunteer and gamer community. You can donate here.
Q: What are your future plans for Warhorn?
A: We will be stewards for and continue to operate Warhorn as it has been for the past 22 years. We may offer improvements and upgrades over time as we gather volunteer coders and financial support for the effort.
Q: What is the Volunteer Valhalla?
A: We are a community of gamers and volunteers. Each of us is here because of those who came before us in our gaming community. The Volunteer Valhalla is our proposed way to celebrate and memorialize those that we will miss.
Q: How do I add a name to Volunteer Valhalla?
A: If implemented, you could make a memorial donation to the OPF here. The page would be updated quarterly with new names.
Q: Who are the Board Members of the OPF?
A: You can find our current Board roster here on our Contact page. We are elected for two year terms.
Q: What do donations to the OPF go towards?
A: Donations pay for hosting and related fees for Warhorn and the OPF website. They also allow us to manage our legal contracts with both gaming companies and volunteers. We have no paid staff nor do any board members get compensation. All donations go into the OPF.
