Community Review Period Open through Wednesday, April 24, 20
Hey everyone!
We have some important updates to share regarding the OPF 2024 Volunteer Services Agreement. As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and community involvement, we are opening up another round of community review to gather your feedback on the latest changes.
At the request of Paizo, we have added a new "Grant of Rights" section to the agreement.
This section is designed to clarify the ownership of intellectual property (IP) provided by OPF or Paizo to volunteers, as well as any IP created by volunteers as part of their work for OPF. It also ensures that volunteers retain rights to IP created separately from their volunteer work.
The new "Grant of Rights" section consists of four key points:
We value your input and want to ensure that the updated agreement effectively represents and safeguards the interests of our diverse volunteer community. While the review period is relatively short (until EOD Wednesday 4/24), it is a continuation of our efforts to maintain transparency and foster open communication.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please send them to volunteer@orgplayfoundation.org by EOD 4/24.
We appreciate your ongoing support and dedication as we work together to build and maintain vibrant, engaging communities around our shared passion for tabletop gaming. Thank you in advance for taking the time to review these updates and provide your valuable feedback. (edited)
